Default Got some extra money, questions

Hey guys i am LOVIN my Teg only thing i can say bad about it is that i love her to much and am selling all of my other babies to put money into her.

I am selling my sound system (Home) and game systems. Getting about 1,000 dollars for everything. Not bad.

I was thinking either, Rims, (But just looks not performance) I could do manual swap for that much? i thought it would be about 500 more... Or should i just wait until trans takes a shit...

I was also looking at a header, DC Sports (Carb Except), Greddy (Carb Except), AEM, Edelbrock, and Flowtech. All carb except. I heard the 4-2-1 system is the best one for low end torque. Is this true? What do i want 2 piece or one piece?

Last is new Exhaust system i heard the Greddy Evo is the best . I want a system that sounds nice but NOT loud. thanks guys

Exhaust, I would go with the WS2 or a Comptech system.

If your getting exhaust system for that car right now, it's going to be purely for sound. If i were you, i'd either invest more into suspension or do an auto-manuel.

Your buying a retarded kid Nike shoes right now.

With only 122k your tranny isn't going to die for a while bro. My brother has treated his 96 Auto RS like pure shit from day one, now has 215k on the same motor and tranny. So if you take any kind of care of your car, most likely that tranny is still in good shape.

Now, IMO, from personal experience...I once rode in an Auto LS w/an intake, header and exhaust and to say the least, when he bumped it from one through 4 it seemed to move pretty good, you could feel the slight delay in the shifting, but it seemed to be moving pretty quick. On the freeway when he would punch it to pass it moved pretty good too. Sometimes he would shift back into 3rd and that seemed to get the car going too.

So there is hope if your ok with that kind of performance.

That would be fine for now. Then i would make up something with my mom and dad that i need to do a manual conversion beause it gets alot better gas milage or somthing that sounds good LOL

So right now i will just finish some small things then some nice rims, and try to find all red taillights...

Trying to con your parents into financing your hobby will not earn you any friends.

i am not asking them for any money at all. I sold all my things. I just need to give them a good reason for converting over my whole trans LOL.

So with headers i need to decide if i want Higher RPM or Midrange up.

I want a 4-2-1 header,
4-1 Is for Top end power..
2 Piece just means its easier to install, compared to 1 piece
What do you guys use for your tegs
