Default What would cause a random misfire when cold, but only when cold?

I'm getting 73 and 74 from my cel.

It starts really rough for a few seconds when it is cold, but straightens right out. Any idea what would be intermittant like that?

Fuel, dirty injectors, wouldn't they be dirty when warm too?
Fuel pump, no idea.

Spark wires, plugs and dist, wouldn't they still have a problem when warm too?

Thanks all!!

My car has been retuned so it runs leaner on startup. When it is cold it runs like $h!t, stalls out and ugh crap. But once it warms up....Nice. So, my predicament is it needs more fuel. The ECU senses the temperature of the engine and when you start it when its cold it compensates for that. IE idles higher till it warms up and also it has a different fuel map "start up enrichment" when it reaches a certain temp it just switches back to the normal fuel map. So, I would say your problem lies in that you are not getting enough fuel somewhere. If it only does it when your car is cold and that it when it needs more fuel then like you said clogged injectors, fuel pump, etc ect.

Try checking the plugs. Might just be burnt or close to dying.
