Default It probably would have been easier to just PM Shmoo...(turbos)

so it's been over a year since i put any thought into a turbo build, and sans girlfriend i am starting to warm up to the idea again as a way to get me back into doing my own thing...

i was wondering whats new, what kits are avalible, where i can buy them....

i know you guys have kept up on this stuff so instead of wasting my time dreaming or researching i figured i'd just ask this time. maybe i'll finally start something.

I was originally thinking the greddy kit, but i think i can do better for the price, esp since i'm probably going to go hondata/chrome or some other from of tuning instead of the supplied FMU's or PLC's and ontop of it alot of the components of the greddy kit seem sort of constricting.

any input you could give would be a great help guys... i know this is sort of a noob thread

Precisely.

Nothing much has changed for low power Honda applications. Greddy, Revhard, Drag, Peakboost, and Full-Race all make quality bolt-on kits.

Piecing a kit together will surely be cheaper and more powerful than a Greddy kit, but along with it comes the headache of fitment issues, budgeting problems, delays due to parts (manifolds, mainly).

If you are really looking into this, start researching what parts you will need and what will be quality. Build a budget and see if you can get those parts to fit within that budget.

SOSDD man the kits aint changed and the process of peicing it together is the same cuz i'm still working on gathering parts from over a year ago, but i'm getting close... prices haven't even really changed much, since our cars aren't made anymore the technologies haven't really been expanded much more...
