Default supension question/issues

Hey guys i got a Koni Supension Set with 4 springs/shocks and installed them. First off the ride seems Worse off then stock even when they are on either Firm setting or loose. Is this because i need a new alinment? I dont understand what is going on here. Plus the kit did lower my car about 1.5" in the back and only 11/12ths or mabye 1" in the front so now my car is looking a little wired with the higher front side and when you look at it to the side you can tell. Please help me. Thanks, Brian

1) The springs will settle a bit over the first few days. There's a chance you installed the rear springs on the front end of the car (and vice versa), but I doubt it.

2) Define "worse". If you were looking for a very soft, compliant ride... you're driving the wrong car. Sell the DC4 and buy a Buick Regal.

3) Alignment makes no difference on impact harshness. If you're annoyed by a rough, bumpy ride... then you need to reconsider your priorities.

Nope i installed right, they were labeled..

Front is 5 fingers tall back is one is it supposed to be that big of a gap? My friend said me can cut one of the springs (One Coilover) to lower it more front would this be bad?

Whatever you do...DO NOT CUT YOUR SPRINGS.

Since it sounds like you did the installation, I'm wondering whether the front shocks are fully seated in the top rubber bushings.

Could you post pics of each front shock tower at some point?
And while you're at it... take a couple shots of the the car from the sides.

cutting the springs is a nice way to fuck up your brand new suspension

Exactly. Please tell me you used the same perch height for all 4 shocks.

Also, if those pics were shot with the car pointed downhill or one wheel in a rut, the tail will sit a little lower.
