shift knob question
Did the 3rd gen gsr always get the leather shift knob and all other trims got the skinnier, non-leather one? Or did you only get the leather shift knob in the models that came with leather?

I believe the 3rd gen gsr always came with the leather shift knob. I've had a 98 gsr with cloth interior and my curent 01 gsr has leather interior and both have the exact same shift knob.

alright. The reason I'm asking is because I have a '94 gsr with cloth interior and the non-leather shift knob. So I didn't know if the previous owner had swapped it out or what was going on...

I do not think all GSRs came with leather shift knobs. When the refresh was done in 98 the GSR got a leather shift knob and steering wheel cloth or leather. In 2000/01 all GSRs came in leather seating and had the leather stearing wheel and the shift knob. I could be wrong on some of the info though.

Yeah, 94-97 Gsr's leather was an option including 98. Also 94-97 Gsr's(Integra) steering said Acura & 98 up steering wheel has the A emblem. 99-01 Gsr leather was standard no cloth. But yes all 3 gen Integra's Ls,Gs Se & Gsr had leather shift knobs...
