Default Clutch will not disengage, HELP!

Ok, so i was crusing in my 92 teg RS with the cable clutch BTW and i was pulling up to a red light so i pressed the clutch pedal to coast up to it, and it felt real odd going in and then after that it wouldnt come up it only came up about 2.5 inches, it felt tight going in, so i popped the hood, and checked it out, the cable is still attached but the arm its attached to dosent seem to want to go down when i push on it, it goes down a bit, but feels like it graduly tightens up till it stops i can only get it to go about an inch if i push on it, its still engaged cause i drove home with out the clutch, my fist time didnt grind em too much, im going to pull the tranny out soon, what you think it is? i just had a newer used transmission and new clutch and flywheel installed about 150 miles ago.

I had the same kind of problem on mine. It ended up being that the sheething around the cable near the adjustment part was coming "unglued" and intead of the cable moving the sheething was moving with it. Hard to describe to you, but you may want to check that out. Sounds like a cable problem to me.
