Default Whistling noise... Probably normal

My 98 GSR just got the seafoam treatment. After finding the PCV valve I ran the treatment through there as I assume I was supposed to. Essentially I popped the valve off the black box, ran another tun to the valve, and poured the seafoam through there.

Everything went all good, tons of white smoke and all. After I took the car for a spin, I parked, opened the hood to do some other work, and then cut the engine. I heard what I thought to be a sucking whisting noise as the engine stopped, something was pulling air in. My question is, is that normal? I don't ever recall hearing anything like that when I cut my engine off, however I bet I just haven't listened to it. Car is running fine, no other symptoms, just the whistling due to air being sucked in somewhere.

I believe I know what you're talking about and my GSR does it as well. I wouldn't worry about it.

It is normal. It is just the pressure equalizing between the intake manifold and atmospheric pressure.

Thanks for the reply guys. BTW, since joining this forum I've decided to sink pretty much all of my disposable income into my vehicle
