My thoughts exactly. :a:

I'll say it again, stop using CarDomain and eBay for design inspiration.

I never said anything about looks. You can't seriously expect a $30 pair of taillights to be anything remotely resembling quality. I give em a week before they start leaking and condensing inside.

For now, I would stray away from the ticky tacky ebay shit and just get a good set of springs and some aftermarket shocks and lower it. A lowered stock looking teg is a lot sexier in my book than one covered in cheap ebay junk.

You need to replace the tail light gaskets. I had the same problem, replaced those gaskets and it was good as new.

If you state a budget for suspension, it would be a lot easier to assist you on what would be the best bang for the buck.

Bearings? Like wheel bearings? Only if they need replacing.

about 600-800 bux? So far here is overall budget

Headers (getting DC heder from a friend who works at a car shop 100 bux new)

Exsuast system about 100 bux friend 2.50" Tubing...

Rims: dont want to go to high because of where i work i want decent looking rims that are cheap

HID conversion 200-300 bux

misc apperance: 400... (taillights, lip and thats all i know so far)

then wait for a while and save up and figure if i want to go farther or stay... (mabye upgrade pistions i guess you can say my goal is 160-180HP and 150-170 Torque i know this will be alot of work to get this figures

Those tail lights are that expensive because they are oem from acura. By far the best looking ones out there tho. And you can find them cheaper. If you like carbon fiber, why not just get a carbon fiber lip? (trust me abs sucks, I had/have one and we dropped a size 10 wrench on it when doing my swap, that crap broke like no other )

If buying junk tail lights makes you happy, then by all means do it! There are ways to keep them dry. Your the one spending the hard earned cash, buy things that make the car fit your personality. From the sound of this thread, your trying to make your car say "look at me, I am cool!". When it comes to appearance mods, HAN's answer will generally be conservative. People around here prefer improving the look of a stock body Integra without swapping bumpers, lights, big rims, or bright paint jobs.

When it comes to product quality and performance, listen to the people here. They will help you set a plan, and attain your goal's without all the headaches local word of mouth will bring.

I think you should start researching the basics first. Learn about your cars engine, and how everything works. Do LOTS of preventive maintenance. Your WHP goal is within arms length, probably without changing your pistons. Find out what parts it will take and learn about tunning. By the time you've accomplished this, you will be addicted, and I seriously doubt your still going to want all these useless appearance mods.

IMO, you should start with finding an OEM quality lip. Get some form of HID retrofit setup, and goto work on your suspension. These three things will set you back ~$1500 when it's all said and done. You'll be surprised how much better your car will look when you stand back and realize that your money went to something worth while.
