Default Spark Plug Stuck - Correction

For https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=255941

Keener Auto Repair, 3066 N Decatur Rd, Scottdale, GA, (404) 297-0902

Flat out refused to pay for the damage. I'll have to deal with him later. Now, I need to fix my car or get another one.

I wouldn't scrap the car for that. Where do you live? File a suite with the District Justice (Same organization that deals with traffic citations, rent eviction, etc.) Then maybe they'll cooperate.

If you don't mind doing it yourself, you might look into another head as somebody stated in your other thread. Or just find a reputable shop/dealer to do it and make "Keener" pay.

If I were you I would just change the head. My friend and I have built 2 good motors together and hes built about 10 alone. So I may have more knowledge and access to better tools. I can understand this not being the best option for you. Its easiest IMO, and I wouldn't trust a rethreaded spark plug h:

My rethreaded spark plug hole has been functioning beautifully for 2 years now. A legitimate machine shop can get that spark plug out and make it as if it had never happened.

$50 for the machine shop to get the bolt out is much more cost effective than a different head. LS heads are pretty cheap, though, so if you can find one in good condition for less than a machine shop would charge to extract the spark plug, that would probably be less of a hassle.
