Default 1990 Integra RS won't start (sometimes)

The car will usually start if it is cold. After it has run a little while and the engine is warm, I will have to wait about 10 minutes.
When I turn the key, I will let all the lights do their thing and then start. Here is what i have noticed.
At the same time the check engine light goes out, I hear this little click sounds, kind of goes like "Tink!". When it does that, it starts. Sometimes I do not get this click. When that happens, it does NOT start.

So, I open the hood to try to trace the click sound. It comes from this little assembly mounted on the rear, right side (from looking at it from the front of the car). It looks like it is attached to some vacuum hoses and stuff.

I have looked in my Haynes manual (POS book), and I can't find anything on what this is or what it does.

Anyone have any clue? Thanks.

Oh, the check engine light is NOT on.

I thought it might have been the fuel pump, but the clicking sound isn't coming from that. I'll take a picture and then try to figure out how to post it.

Let's see if this works. To the right of where it says "PGM-FI", there are two verticle cylinder looking things. That is where the clicking sound comes from.

Haynes might not be great, but I know that they identify the part in question.

Study that book a little closer.

BTW, I know that it is not causing your no start problem. I don't know what is, but it ain't that.

So, that is why I posted...because I don't know what it is. So what section of the book can I narrow it down to?

I don't know what is causing the car not to start. All I know, is if that little doo-dad clicks, the car starts. If it doesn't click, the car doesn't start.

Had same prob a while back. My prob was the Battery. It wasn't holding the charge. Is it charging right? you should test the battery. Check battery cables also.
