If the fan that is not working is the AC fan and you are bypassing the compressor that could be the reason why it is not turning on. If the radiator fan is not turning on your fan switch may be bad and need to be replaced.

Alright, thanks for the info. I'll check it out tomorrow when I get a chance. One more thing, I noticed lately that my car will idle a lot lower at operating temp if i don't turn the fan on. is this normal? it's at about 1000 rpm w/ the fan on, and 600 with it off. the idle is a lot smoother at 1k. it almost feels like it's going to die with the fan off sometimes.

I think I'll relax now and drop a slim fan in for the turbo app.
