Not necessarily. My buddy's wife had an Integra GS, same year as my GSR. We were both dropped on H&R Sports with stock shocks, she had 18's and I have stock blades. She rubbed really bad and I have never done so.
wheel offset is what makes her tires rub. oem blades' offset is + 45 mm. and 18's have like +38-+40 mm. i had neuspeed sports 1.75" drop before and the fronts did not rub with my blades and did with my 17's with an offset of + 40 mm.
