Default HELP Car DoesNOT Cool down,It overheats, Anti-freez dont circulate ?

Hey all

got a 99 integra and i put an engine into it connected everything filled with AntiFreez, Started the car and it doesnt seem to Cool down, got Heater on full it Blows COLD AIR, after a while the Heat sensor erow is on RED car starts to smoke, well overheating duh.. (engine is from a diff car that ive driven till crashed, pulled engine out and pimped it out with new cluch, cam gears, pulleys alll ultra light aluminim, all belts etc...)

any ways basicle the AntiFreez doesnt circle around all the way thru the system
what could be the problem ?

1. Please dont tell me the Head Gasket is blown (on this motor ive driven with out any collent at all for some good 10mi id say, maybe less at city speeds and reaching 40mph i could hear the engine Visle

2. placeing a Car on a hill to get the bubble's out havent done so how far of an Angle should it be at ( waiting for headlight to test drive it to a hill)

3. IN SIDE the CAR, where the 2 hoses connect thru the firewall with coolent
IT LEAKS i can see drips comeing out every time i shut the car down and makes SUCKING Noise, IT INHAILS AIR ???? ( tomorrow ill buy Window FOAM and spray in there to cover all the holes leaks etc..) could this be part of the problem ?

any one else know why it wont circulate the collent and what can i do to fix it

I'm thinking either your thermostat is stuck closed or you have air bubbles obstructing the coolant's flow.

IT says : COMPLETE BLOCK FLUSH MUST BE PERFORMED AND ALL AIR BUBBLES REMOVED FROM COOLING SYSTEM.

How do you flush a block is it importent ?

and whats a thermostat lookslike and where is it located, how do i make it functional again

If you have coolant inside, your heater core is leaking.

If your sure its not circulating, you're thermostat isn't opening. Usually located in the thermostat housing where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine.

You can buy an adaptor to flush your cooling system with a garden hose at any autoparts store.

What engine is this & what car is it in? Do you have a helms or Haynes manual?

As an ex snap on dealer, i used to sell a tool that created a vaccum in the cooling system, then forced coolant into the engine so no air bubbles would be in your system. I think they were about $150.00, and might be cheaper to buy one than taking it to a mechanic. I also sold a special funnel for about $20.00 that had a large tank above it , so as you ran your engine and and the thermostat cycled, it continually added coolant until there was no air in the system. like this.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LISLE...enameZWD1VGood luck

You have to register, but it's worth it...

Download your Helms Shop Manual for the 97 integra LS. This should guide you through every thing you'll ever need.
