my passenger headlght has moisture inside. Somehow there's a damn spider web in the other drivers projector. Is there an easy way to either clean the inside of the lens between the projector and the plastic or am i just screwed.

 

Put them in the oven then seperate the lense from the housing and clean them out and reseal. thats what we did to someones headlights we knew.

 

Just don't heat it too long, but this is the fix. I did it last year, no problems yet.....

 

Haha yeah if you heat it too long it will melt the headlights.

heat it between 150-220 for about 2-3 minutes NO LONGER. it may be a little tough too come apart but it will eventually come...im sure your a big boy

 

Do you close the oven door during this 2-3 minutes or do u leave it open?

 

thats the only option there is? doesn't that smell horrible when you put them in the oven?

How do you reseal them. Cause this is really driving me nuts. I'm still baffled how the damn spider got inside the light and made a spider web

 

No when we did it and it didnt smell at all. You can just go to Autozone and they have sealer in a little tube you put on. Its not hard and only take about 20 minutes to do really.

 

put in oven, usuing a flat head screw driver go all the way around and try to pry it open, keep on checking it so you don't melt the headlight. once you done, put the two piece together, put it back in the oven until the sealent get soft, press the two piece together with your hand; until they're somewhat seal then use a plier, go around the headlight and gently squeeze the two piece together. done this 3 times already,

 

when my headlight fog up, I just use clear silicone to seal them h:

 

Yep, me too. Just turn the headlights on until the moisture evaporates then re-seal. No removal or oven required.
