The rotors will get too hot to touch after one braking pass so don;t judge it by that. There is air in the lines or your master cyl is leaking. I know on older master cyls, when you manually bleed brakes, the piston can tear the seals inside the master cylinder. I would pressure beeld the brakes or vaccuum bleed them. If that doesn't work, I'd really suspect your master cyl. BTW autozone has them for 50 bucks for non abs 15/16" for the RS.

I just went throught this fiasco and I bled the sytem 5 times beofre I just gave up and bought a new mastercyl.

Good luck buddy.

They never got that hot after just driving around the block ONCE.
I mean, I literally go 100 yards and come back, with just stopping on one end and coming back (from 40mph to 0, not even hard braking) and they are TOO hot.

It could be that they are sticking. Are they the front or rear? I know the rears are often installed incorrectly causing the pads to stick. If you have the means to, get under the car and check things out. Its sounds like the shop you took it to isn't really giving you the straight deal. I would have at least expected them to pressure bleed the system.

I know for a fact they hand bled the system and I did all four corners.
I looked around in there and there's no leaks on any of the calipers or anything.

But the pads definatly seem to be touching the rotors. I just got back from lunch, drove around the building at 15mph and by the time I got back to my parking spot the brakes were again too hot to touch.
15mph, not even using hte brakes except to stop in the parking spot.

Have you bled the brakes yourself? Here's how:

If that doesn't work then my guess is the pads aren't in the caliper all the way. Is it just one wheel or both fronts?

And why'd you get the HP+ man? They're alright for a non-track car but you'll be much more happy with HPS.

Could also be a caliper locking up....lift the front wheels off the ground and see if they spin freely. Then check the slide pins on the calipers to see if they slide freely.

So, here's where we're at after today. The pads are gripping the rotor too much for whatever reason. They are overheating very quickly.
In fact, today. On my way back from a 5 mile drive I was stopping to get into my driveway and you could literally smell the brake pads and feel in the pedal the brake pads grabbing and letting go - because it was too hot for them. I go look at my rotors and they're all nice and messy and black from brake pad all chunked off on them.

I called the shop, they're having my car towed to their shop tomorrow morning (8:00AM).
