Just bought a 91 integra LS. My left turn signal makes both left and right signals flash at the same time! Anyone have a clue why this is and how to fix it? Help! I can't pass inspection without it. PLS. HELP !!!!!Thanks

My first guess would be that the ICU is failing. This is a small board under the fuse panel that controls many of the dash functions. There were ICUs with capacitors that go bad causing the board to malfunction. Repair/replace is relatively easy, however the bad news is, it is fairly hard to get out because you have to more or less remove the fuse panel to get to it (it is on the fuse panel on the BACK side), which means disconnecting many of the cables that go to it.
Another possibility is that you have a grounding issue somewhere in one of your front lighting wire harnesses.

Do your rear defroster, hazzards and intermittent wipers work? These things all go through the ICU. Usually if you have one problem one or more of the others will soon develop also.
Did you check the bulbs? Mine did the same thing - left signal the front would blink, but not the corner. Right signal, the right front and the left corner would blink. I picked up a used ICU and I haven't had a chance to swap it in yet, but I am pretty sure that is the problem.
I'll have to check the Helms to see where the lights ground and which wires to check.

I couldn't find it, I'll keep checking. The problem is, it may not be a problem at the spot where it is grounded, it could be damage to the harness anywhere along the entire thing that is causing the problem.

Figure this out yet? I found the grounds for the lighting - the right one is below and in front of the windshield wiper fluid reservoir. I can't tell where the right one is, but it should be basically opposite of the right one.
Another thought could be that the contacts on the turn signal switch itself are either wearing out or corroded inside the steering wheel assembly.

The ground point for the the harnesses should all come to one point - for the right light, it is covered (box looking thing with wires coming into it and is mounted on the frame right in front of and beneath where you fill the windshield fluid. It is a little square white connector.

Yes, I Saw That, I Took It Out, Everything Seems In Place, I Dont Think Its The Ground Problem, Have You Heard About The Hazard That Might Be Connected To The Signal Lights? Do You Think Its The Hazard?
