y would you rather have a b18 than a b20?

the crank in the b20 is different than the one in the b18, is powerd for more torque than horse power, and if you are going to boost the compression is 8:1 than like 14:1

Need more info. I guess your trying to decide on a motor. Do you have a budget? Long term power goals? Who's doing the work, you or a shop?

be more specific. b20's and b18a/b have the same 89mm crank. b18c's have an 87.2mm crank. and what engine are you talking about that has 14:1 c/r? :eh:
