Motor Build Question [Split from ITR Side Skirt Thread]
#41
Schmoo have you not read my other posts, pistons and Rods are going in for sure, i just wanted to know what other safety precautions i could take, also im gonna go with the Hondata, GSSR already explained to me why not to use the VAFC, im just a bit curious to know what other small things you guys put into your engine to protect it from overheating,Blowing, not geeting enough spark etc.... its better to do it correct the first time, thats what im trying to do, and please i appreciate any help.
I was just saying that all you need are pistons and rods. Sleeving is overkill for that power.
I have completely stock internals on a 153k mile motor, so I think you will be just fine with just pistons and rods.
All this stuff has been covered a million times. Honda-tech users were even nice enough to compile a more than complete FAQ: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/1024174

i agree with schmoo, i just can't keep up with your thread lol, all you need is what schmoo stated above, and you will be just fine, remeber good fueling, good EMS, and a good tune goes a long way!
