Retrofit HID's
Anyone gotten HID's from this site.
http://www.customlightz.com/
they seem to be a pretty decent looking company and i'm thinking about doing this. Anything i should be aware of. Only think i find funny is it says they run at 14000K. I thought HID's were only a spark jumping a gap at such a voltage you don't notice the electrical spark. I thought they ran at a pretty cool tempature, like less than a halogen. :screwy:

Most HID's I know of run at 35W (you can find some that run at 50-70W, but it will cost more). The 14000K most likely represents the color temp of the bulb. Anyways, I've heard pretty good things about customlightz. I checked their web one time and it seemed a little pricey to me, but I guess if you got the money, then go for it. They do excellent work.

why do they have the little line above the regular line
the __________---------____-----_______ is that just the beam. I mean they look great and i think i'm gonna do it. How hard is it to install GSSR
Just a matter of hooking up wires for the lights and a power source for the ballast?

its the z line all hid projectors have them, basically once u get them back from him reinstall your lights, then put in the bulbs hook it up to yoru ballast and then hook up your ballast to the car's wiring harness, and then swap out the fuses for the headlights to a higher amp, can't remeber what amp off the top of my head and u are pretty much good to go
