Default Had VAFC stolen, had question....

I had my car broken into and had a few things stolen including my VAFC, which had VTEC adjusted to 4700. I was warned by someone that if I run without the VAFC and hit VTEC that I will start hitting valves. Just trying to find out it this is true or not. I have the following done to my GSR engine.

Head port and polished with full titanium valve train.
Skunk2 Stage 2 cams.
Skunk2 cam gears.
Timing adjusted, can't remember to what though at this time.
Big ol fat fuel rail.
Fuel pressure regulator.

Only things stock about the engine are the crank and pistons.

I know I am a newbie, but I know I can find the help I need here. Thanks in advance.

I would've assumed that if someone steals your vafc which doing the wiring its set at 4700 like you said, I would've assumed you wouldn't have vtec since there's no switch to activate the vtec since your controller was stolen

i wouldn't have used a vafc in the first place--- get a real ecu control device.

Let me ask this a different way then, since the only response I was getting was to upgrade.

Lets say that I dont want to put another controller back in. Can I safely run without one. Basically getting rid of any remains of the old controller and hook everything back up the way it was before the controller. I am dead out of money right now and can't afford another device at this time.

instead of wasting your money on another vafc you should get:

a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness
obd1 p72 ecu
hondata ems

I am also running a JDM ECU, what would be the best controller to run.
