Anyone with JRSC'd LS?

I think the problem with nitrous is that most of us don't like the idea of having it only work occasionally when you go WOT. When I punch the throttle I want the power to be there without me having to do anything extra otherwise. (you might call it lazy, but I can't imagine using nitrous on a road course and still keep the car on track). Of course for drag racing it is unbeatable as an economical power adder, but I don't have big enough ballz to spray h: and I'm not a particulary avid drag racer.
I have also heard that blowers on non-vtec motors are fairly weak (180-190whp @ 8 psi), but if you're gonna pick up a JRSC for dirt cheap, there's no argument there

Since you live in cali you might also want to consider that most turbos aren't legal. The only one i know of that has a carb cert is the greddy and from what ive seen doesn't put out much more power than the jrsc. 190 whp isn't that bad in my opinion. Should make respectable 1/4 mile times. and i tend to think since they offer a 2 year 100,000 mile warrenty they must be pretty reliable. And no turbo cool down time.

I'm thinking 10lbs, Hondata tuned, with a Hondata intake manifold gasket....GSR's on that setup have seen 270+, so I would think an LS would be 220+ at least, and all the torque to back it up.

If you're looking at the Jackson Racing blower for an LS, it only adds about 30whp/20wtq, according to the manufacturer. The one for the CRV added about 45 hp to the crv, but would it fit on an LS? I thought the intake manifold setup was different...
However, I do remember one guy from before the crash that had a SC'd LS that was running 13.8 on slicks.

I know what JR claims that it adds, I've seen the dyno charts. That isn't the setup I'm talking about. Maybe it's time for me to call Hondata and see if they've done any. And the bolt pattern on the IM is the same for the ls/crv, but the stock crv manifold is much taller...the JRSC isn't that tall.

270+ hp? at 10 psi on a gsr? where did uget these numbers? i had my car hondata tuned by dsr boosting 9-10 psi w i/h/e and what not making like 231 whp running slightly rich, where have u seen people make 270+ whp on a gsr? i've heard of htat on SCed itrs w built blocks boosting 10 psi. but i thot most gsrs leand out to like 12.5 a/f and hondata tuned ran about 240-250 whp max?
