Default integra type r gauge cluster question

i recently purchased an integra type r cluster and going and was wondering if i can wind the mileage foward to match my existing mileage. Has anyone ever done this and is it possible?

tampering with mileage is illegal plus using something to shoot it forward at a fast rate would make the numbers go of center and then you can tell it was tampered with, plus why not just do that and roll the number over and give yourself 20k miles or something.....Dont' mess with it man, just make sure you keep record of it.

my uncle has been swapping engines more than any of us on this forum, and he always winds up the miles of the new engine to the cluster, he always of course has the paperwork to prove the mileage of the engine, he also had this one tool, it looks like an drill but smaller and has a small screen on it, he says he got it from germany, but try not to cheat someone off by lowering it more than the actual miles....

Tampering with an odometer is black-letter-law illegal. :a:
If you sell the car and the odo is underclocked, you're asking for trouble.
