New rotors and pads
Every time i change the rotors and pads, 2 weeks later the wrap. I do hard brake occasionaly like from 100KMH to 50. This week-end i am changing them again, i was wondering if you guy had any suggestion as to what rotors and pads to get.
I was thinking maybe sloted or cross drilled thinking they would keep the rotor cooler and the would tend to warp less right?
Thanks

what kind of rotors and pads did you have before?
brembo blanks are the preferred around here.--
if you keep having these problems i'd think it'd be something other than the type of rotor :dunno:

Are we talking stock pads and rotors or cheapo aftermarket? You need to take it easy on the brakes right off the bat and you need to bed the pads in well before trying some major stopping. Maybe some slotted or cross drilled rotors?

that weird though, there is no reason they should warp that fast. There a lot of guys who just use the cheapest rotors w/ good pads and have no problems. Are your pads wearing evenly? do your "sliders" slide easily? Honestly I wouldn't get expensive rotors yet because something else is probably going on here.

Like bnuk said, I would check for seized sliders in the braket that the caliper slides back and forth in. If those are fine, then you need to change the way you drive, don't be so hard on the brakes. I myself have warped my brembo blanks before and after I resurfaced them. I'm due for a rotor swap in about 10k miles.

it is useless to have them unless your car sees quite a bit of track time
