Are race, light weight, seats worth the money?
I am just getting a game plan to hook my GSR up. I looking to lighten the car's weight as my next step. I looking in to buying light weight seats
aswell as other light weight upgrades.
What I am asking is: are they worth the money, are they easy to install by your self, are they guranteed to be safe, are they good for daily driving aswell, and how much do stock, leather integra seats weight?
 I am looking at Sparco Rev priced at $550+, VIS Racing sport carbon design for $400+ which is lighter, but has no pading, and MOMO Cup HiTech which is the lightest, but 4 times the price of the other two.

Depends on whether the seats come with rails (which many do not) or if you can get rails that fit your car specifically or if you have to use generic rails (adjustable or non). With a one piece seat and non adjustable rails, you won't have anyone getting into the back seats....
What other things have you already done to lighten?

Nothing yet. I am looking at Volk CE28n, Rota Slipstream 15to16x7 light weight wheels, fiber glass finders, carbon fiber hoods and mirrors and taking out the rear seats, floor matts, spair tire on race day only.

unless the entire car is going ot be stripped i'd just leave it the way it is.. unless you require the seats for a 5-point or something i wouldnt bother, they are too much of a hassle IMO-- why lose the fuctionality of regular seats when you arent gaining anything you really need?

Your looking a t weight loss of about 25 lbs. with everything you listed. Not worth it IMO. Real weight loss comes from a small driver to start and then stripping everything that does not help the car run.

there is no use to cutting down on weight, there just isnt enough there to rip out unless you were going to take out the entire interior, and by that i mean door panels and all.
just forget about losing weight and focus on gaining power if you want more get-up
