Default ABS light comes on speraticaly.

The abs light comes on when I hit a bump. It goes away when I hit another bump. I've tried the trick like for the cel but the abs doesn't flash when I do this.

mine does it sometimes, and its not just the light, its the whole goddamn system. the break pedal can go from being super stiff to soft and drawn out when the system is switching on and off.

Likely the sensor on one of the wheels. My guess/prediction is you will need brake pads soon. Next thought might be a leaking master cylinder. Have you checked the level of the ABS reservoir?

Sounds like a loose wheel sensor wire. There's a reset procedure, you might want to find the code before you try it though. Are you positive you shorted the correct connector? That's strange, it should flash.

Short the service check connector (under the glovebox, same one shorted to check engine codes).
Depress the brake pedal.
Turn the ignition switch ON (II) while keeping the brake pedal depressed.
After the ABS light goes OFF, release the brake pedal.
After the ABS light comes ON, depress the brake pedal.
After the ABS light goes OFF, release the brake pedal.

After a few seconds, the ABS light blinks twice and the DTC(s) are erased. If the light does not blink twice repeat steps 1-6. If the light stays ON after the light blinks twice, check the DTC because a problem was detected during initial diagnosis before shifting to DTC erase mode.

The light doesn't come on when I initialy turn the car on. Just when I'm driving.

This is a list of possible causes when no DTC is indicated.

Blown Rear Defroster Relay/Heater Motor Relay/Cooling Fan Motor Relay 7.5A fuse

Open circuit between the under-dash fuse/relay box and ABS control unit

Open circuit between the battery and under-hood ABS fuse/relay box

Faulty alternator

Open circuit between the alternator and the ABS control unit

Short to body ground in the WARN circuit between the ABS indicator light
and ABS control unit

Faulty ABS control unit
