I have a friend who has Toyo Proxes. He loves gthem. They stick very well and last for a long time. He has had them for over a year of hard driving and they still look new. They are truely amazing. They will be more expensive than Kuhmos but worth the price difference.

I have a set of Toyo Proxes T1-S in the stock size on my GSR.
I think it is a great tire. Great handling, tread life and comfort. Treadwear rating is 280 (which is rather high for a max performance tire). Traction=AA. Temp=A.
Compared to the stock Michelins, they are better in every respect except for having a little less comfortable ride (which I can surely live with!) .
SCC did a write up on performance tires in the May/June/July/August? issue.
Gordon.

The T1-S are great tires, but too pricey IMO. You may as well get S-03's, they really are the best tire on the market right now. The Proxes FZ4's are complete garbage, avoid them like the plague.
Treadwear is important to someone like me who drives a TON of miles. Why buy Azenis' when they will last me all of 6 months? The AVS ES100's look nice as well.
