I've seen the Comptech bar cause tearout. Better safe than sorry...pick up the ASR subframe brace.

I believe that was on the 1st design the second version corrected this problem, unless u have seen the second version do it then now u got me worried

The current Comptech bar has a reinforcement plate, there is no way it should tear out. Looks like a solid kit to me.

I've done the ITR bar on a 95 GSR with the Beaks kit (I helped him with it back in the day) and it works fine. I ran it for years with no tear out, and I drove that car hard. Of all the things I did to that car, the ITR sway made the single largest improvement, taking it from understeer to almost neutral. Still not as good as the ITR, but very good.

I have 2 friends who had the Skunk2 bars tear out, because their design was not quite right.
