Resurfacing head... Tips and more info please.

Agreed. As long as the car hasn't overheated and the head was properly removed, there's no reason for the head to be warped or out of spec.

well I forgot to mention that it did overheat. My wife drove the car up a mountain, I was sleeping and woke up to smoke comming under the hood. She been driving half way up the mountain with the engine overheated.

Okay the head is resurfaced and I got some apr head studs... so far the car is running perfectly. Thanks for the help.
