my honda dealer charges $99.95 per/hr.

And MOST places (dealerships especially) go by the books. They charge for the time it SHOULD take, and not the time it actually takes. If the job takes 8hrs, but should take 10 hrs, you get charged 10hrs. But usually if it takes 11 and should be a 10hr job, they will most likely charge 11. At least thats how it is at my work.

I remember when my GSR needed rings i called my dealer and I believe the quote was about 1300-1500...in the range of that at the same place that charges 99.95/hr
