well there are lots of different places you can look. ebay has them (although i wouldn't go for a cheap knockoff), search google, craigslist, or even in the classifieds section of this site or other sites like honda-tech.com, team-integra.net, etc.

ONE IMPORTANT THING: if your lights already dim bc of your system, you might want to also invest in another battery. HIDs run off of a motor that is included with the kit and that will drain your battery even more than your system is right now. it would be wise to invest in a capacitor for your system, or even an independent battery if you decide to go with the HIDs

actually hids use up less power, they use only 35 watts, compared to your normal hallogen bulb...

there are 2 ways to get hids

Cheap way plug and play, check our sponsored section, and classified, i think they are around 250

the real way, actually do an HID retrofit which will be like OEM, and there is no comparision between a plug and play retrofit:

i personally have s2k projectors, in my car and my lighting is insane: here is the link to the thread with pics of my set up: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...=gssr+retrofit

maybe the bulbs use less wattage, but what about the motor that powers the bulbs? ive been told numerous times from many different sources that they use a significant amount of battery. im no expert tho, this is just word of mouth.

that is not true, the ballast, usues less energy then a regular holagen bulb, why do u think most hybrids, and electrical cars all have HIDS becasue it uses less power, and like u said the bulbs are less wattage

yes plug and play is for people on a budget, and frankly don't care to have that much light output....

mine cost about 800 or so, but i already had ballasts, and i had them do other things like color mod, lense buff, upgrade sealent, and bought new bulbs...

What time of stupied question is that do u know what a retrofit is?? U are using all oem parts in my case from an s2000, so there is no glare, or hot spots.. and light output second to none, also i have 4300k phillips bulbs which are yet again oem color temp range. there is no comparrison between a plug and play and a true retrofit

$800 for brighter headlights? What a deal. h:

I have seen his headlights in person and they are pure sex. But probably not worth $800 plus. Definitely very unique, though.

I have to put up some pics:
