Default Powder coating Cam Cover on 97 LS

Hello, after i lost my 98 GS i purchased a 97 LS and since i have been back from college have been working hard at repairing the body of the car and making sure that it is running strong. Well since the car is older the cam cover's paint has been peeling and i want to get it powder coated b.c after searching the internet for aftermarket cam covers, i decided that they all looked like crap so i just want to clean mine up a bit. Does anyone know where i could send my cam cover to have it powder coated and about how much it would cost? and if anyone has had it done can they post pictures so i can see it. I just want to keep the cam cover black.

well i got it powdercoated and here are some before and after pics.
I got it powdercoated at Bloomington Coatings, in Bloomington Indiana

Pretty clean. I would have had them either shave the lettering, or mask it, though.

Well i originally showed them a picture of the same valve cover powder coated bronze with the letters white/shaved and told them i wanted it like that but w/e it still looks A LOT better.



I was thinking about just using a white engine paint and painting the letters white.

I thought the same thing, but I didn't want to bring it up to potentially pour salt on the wound. :hs:
