after about 2-3 weeks of active participation on the board, its clear to see who knows what they're talking about. When you notice one of these individuals, be and listen.

If not, does anyone know of a good shop to go to. I was gonna use midwest performance, any suggestions?
The drag kit comes with intercooler piping. :eh:
There are certain parts that I would upgrade/ditch on that drag kit. The FMU is garbage along with check valves in my opinion. Also the deltagate has been known for boost creep (or is the poor manifold design to blame), look into upgrading injectors and of course get a engine management system. Did I mention that the manifold has crappy wastegate placement? Oh yeah and isn't the oil return line made of rubber.

That makes me wonder! What's the point in purchasing a kit if you should upgrade and ditch parts in it? :chuckles:

If you just dive into this turbo setup without researching you will regret it, I promise.

would it just be better to make a list of all the stuff I need and buy it indiviudally and piece together my own kit? I didn't mean to offend anyone by my previous statement, I just meant a lot of people buy sports cars and can't fix them and all that, that's all. I understand where your comming from. The thing is I'm not tying to go all out crazy with this. This car will never see a track. I understand that some of the parts in the kit may not be the best for a serious racer, but will they be ok for average joe?

Look at it this way if you have a full exhust go supercarger it not buy the turbo and you will get the exhust with it that is usually the extra cost . Turbos are more difficult to install but usually are making more power . Turbos you have to deal with the lag witch I personaly don't like and could make it more difficult to get the power to the ground .

A stock sports car is a completely different beast than a highly modified compact car. If you are not willing to learn what you are up against, it will be a complete nightmare...trust me.

Where do you get this information? I know no kit that comes with a full exhaust. A vortech supercharger takes much longer than a turbo kit to install. I don't have any problem putting power to the ground and it is fully spooled by 3800 rpm. A properly sized turbo with a non-restrictive exhaust will see very minimal lag.

Ok smarty pants .

The edlbrock kit comes with a full exhaust and I wasn't comparing it to centrefugal but I don't know many vortech kit that are hard to install maybe a little harder with the aftercooler but not that hard . I also mentioned the lag as an opinon I would prefer a turbo . What times do you run with no traction issues .

But when ever you are ready I have something that will blow your doors off .

What are you talking about? :squint:

Even if you're talking about the Edelbrock turbocharger kit that was developed for a Civic. What kit comes with a full exhaust?

Get a rope!

Thats fucking great, dude.

-You didn't specify Edelbrock...even still...it doesn't come with a full exhaust.
-Centrifugal superchargers are still superchargers...and yes, they take longer to install.

If you are going to argue with me, try doing it without a pissing contest and broken English.
