my driver side wheel bearing needs to be replaced and its been awhile now. now before i come to a complete stop the driver side wheel starts to click, im wondering if anyone knows if thats because i need to replace the wheel bearing or is the clicking coming from else where??? someone said it could be coming from the axle...any help would be great...thanks

Clicking is probably the cv joint on the axle.

dubcac is correct, i kno. my driver's side wheel bearing needs replacing and it sounds more like a constant rubbing sound. imagine a wobbling rim or a flat tire, like a constant "whomp whomp whomp" sound... it's been a year now that i have been driving this way im just too lazy to pull off the knuckle and have the bearing replaced. but yeh back to the point, its your axle cuz i have the same problem too.

Ditto.

I have that exact issue on my g2 right now. The click is most likely a bind inside the CV joint.

Could be the axle but honestly, check for rocks in your tires haha.

i've driven with both my axles clicking and one bad wheel bearing for over a year and the car still runs ok, its not advised that you let it go this long but if you have to then yeah itll last. just try to get it fixed asap or you might regret it.

Does the clicking occure when you give it the gas around a corner?
