Default Weird Problem

This problem started about 4 or 5 days ago... basically when driving, my car would start hesistating anytime that I got on the gas even slightly (it felt like bad plugs or plug wires). Then on the 2nd day, I noticed that my Tach. was fluctuating wildly anytime the car would hesitate... then on the 3rd day, i noticed that my speedometer would fluctuate in sync with the fluctuations of the tach. occasionally...

I replaced plugs, plug wires, dist. cap and rotor... before I go an buy a new Distributor, i'm wondering if anybody has any ideas on what the problem could be and what to check for... thanks...

if you have an IACV - idle air control valve. Try cleaning that, its on back of intake man. Even if it aint that, id clean it anyway

IAC only operates when the throttle plate is closed. Other then that its just air rushing through, and you will not notice a difference if air is making it through or not due to the throttle plate being open.

Problem ended up being a faulty ground wire (valve cover to body), the wire going into the terminals was corroded pretty bad and not giving a good contact. Replaced it with some 8ga audio wire and gold terminals, works great now. This weekend i'll end up replacing all my grounds (was kind of cold and raining last night, lol).
