Default intake and exhaust cam

Have a set of Pr3 cams going into a P72 head. I cannot tell the difference between the intake cam and the exhaust cam. Can someone help me out with this?

Intake has a groove for the distributor.

If you are trying to identify the cam by the gears, you can't do that. All B series cam gears have PR3 on them.

To do it with the head on the car, you need the snap on tool or equivalent and an air compressor. The tool is just two uprights, a bar that goes through them, and a handle that attaches to the bar that will give you leverage to compress the springs.
