My internal dome or ceiling light does not come on when opening the psngr side door, but turns on when the drvr door is open. I believe this started after I had the OEM alarm removed and an aftermarket one installed. But I know for the last yr since having the car it worked fine. Now the installer tested the door switch wires and said there is no power coming on the psngr side.

Also if anyone can answer this. My trunk light doesn't come on either. It will read at 1 volt rather than 12 volts. this one I can not even make switch on even if i use the switch. I've replaced the bulb and switch and nothing works. I assume it is connected to the release actuator somehow which I replace b/c when i purchased the car it didnt work. The seller said the light and hatch used to both work, but stopped working on day. He did not say that they stop working at the same time though but I am assuming they did.

any ideas will help.
