What is the diference or what is better? Skunk2 stage 1 cams, USDM ITR cams, or USDM cams? Let me know what you think is better on GSr?

 

Skunk2 stage 1 cams are slightly bigger then 2000/01 itr and CTR cams, either or is a good choice, if u want every last ounce of hp go for skunk2 stage 1's i had them they where great, made really nice power, but since i went to boost i now have CTR cams in my car

 

skunk2 also makes turbo cams

 

Turbo cams suck. I would much rather put in a stage 2 cam with the overlap dialed out than those junky things.

The power gains are less than impressive. I have seen more impressive gains out of CTR cams than turbo cams.

why are CTR better then ITR cams, and why would they be better for a turbo setup then Skunk2's? Cams dont have to be forged or bullet proof for forced inductions, do they?

 

Higher lift, longer duration, more overlap. It is a minor difference, but still a difference.

If anything, N/A cams would take more than a beating revving to 10k versus a turbo cam revving to 8.5k.
