I checked my battery's voltage and it was good. I think it may be my starter; it doesn't even crank. It has never hesitated when being started.
I have 2 questions, any and all help is truly appreciated:
How can I test the starter?
What else could be the cause?

starters usually don't fail from one day to the next.
After I installed my header Saturday night, I probably started it at least 6 more times that night without hesitation. There aren't too many wires in the way of installing the header, and I've triple-checked and wires are all connected. NGK wires have been installed correctly for 3 months.

I'll try this when I get home; just to clarify- the starter should turn when its tapped while someone is cranking?

it might, which is why you should try, if it starts to work a little after you've hit it a few times it's probably shot and needs to be replaced

I missed the doesn't crank at all, obviously. Check to be sure that the actuating wire on the starter is making contact. Just make sure it's connected for one, and wiggle it around to be sure it's not crazy loose and touching the post. It's a small, single wire going into the starter. Sometimes they corrode and lose contact so check that.

Thnaks for your input everyone. Well, I tried tapping it and a little more than tapping, and also checked that wire that goes to the starter, and still no luck. Still does not crank. Seems like it could be starter after all.

I removed the starter and took it to Autozone, they tested it and the result is that its dead. I'm think I'm going to go with the OEM starter for $225 vs $130 from the local Autozone.

Thanks everyone.

p.s. Can't wait for that new starter to come in so I can drive with the new RSR ExMag!
