16's w/ a 205/45 tire wat im rockin, good choice. my friends teg on the left of my SI has 15's with a 50 series tire so this should give you a good judge.

 

I like the 16's better, but both cars are pretty sweet.

So, bottom line for me, Joe_Hard, would be to get some nice 16" wheels with 205/45 tires. I think that would be the best setup for you, considering what you're looking for here. If you have a couple in mind, ask us here!

 

check back on post 15, im showing you what im buying tomorrow, but if those rims can fit 205/45/16 instead of 205/40/16 ill get those, is there a big difference between 40 and 45?

 

40-45 thats just the sidewall height it has nothing to do with the fitment of the wheel. Personally once owning 40's the 45's im currently runin ride a hell of alot better and look about the same. you can have 205/35's or 205/70's on a 16'' wheel they will both fit the series is just the sidewall height. Also the width 205 is probably the best but thier is also alittle felxibility there, they only thing you have to have is the exact diameter.

 

one other thing i forgot to mention, i noticed the yok parada's you had there on the pic with the wheels, speaking form experience again if you dont have a camber kit those tires will wear out quicker than the others i have tried, the nitto neogens and the toyo proxies. If you have a camber kit however they are a good tire. i have had a set w/o a camber kit and w/ a camber kit, but still they wear alittle more than the competition, nit's and toyo's. just my 2 cents of prior experience.

Sidewall height has absolutely everything to do with fitment of the wheel.

With the wrong sidewall height, the speedometer and odometer will not read accurately... because the rolling circumference of the wheel has changed.

And if you're implying that a 70-series, 16" diameter tire would fit in an Integra's wheel, you're just plain wrong.

The correct tire fitment for 16"x7" wheel on a third-gen Integra is 205/45R16.

I dont think I'll need a camber kit since im only gonna be dropping 1.5 at most :eh:

You read what i was saying all wrong, he was thinking that the side wall height was a number that was unique to the different wheels he thought a wheel could only have a 205/45/16 or a differnet wheel could only have a 205/40/16 i dont think he realized what number the side wall height was. Im not dumb i know a 70series wont fit on a teg but it will fit the same on an 16'' wheel as a 45 series tire will. I know that the side wall height changes your odometer, speedometer ect. thats why i also choose 45's for my car, the facotry 15's w/ 50's are the same diameter as the 16's w/ 45's in my case. dont act like im a total dumbass again your making yourself look like one read father up in the thread.
