Default Integra Alarm-need Answer Asap

For the 96 Acura Integra...I lost the remote..but I have a spare key. Will unlocking the door w/o the remote set off the alarm? I know I should know...but I don't!!!

Not unless you armed it the last time before you lost the remote. Otherwise, unarmed it should do nothing.

What kind of alarm system is it or is this factory?

unarmed: no no big deal

armed: yeah it will... but basically just let it sound the alarm for 20-40 seconds... then when it dies out lock it all up manually and go back with your key... (to see if it armed itself) if it didn't ... your all set... just go get another one... if it did... do the same thing again but this time drive and buy a new one

im assuming this is an OEM alarm?

Just unplug the brain located under the steering column until you can get a replacement remote. It is a black box with a ton of wires going into all sides of it.
