Default Please help might buy integra Tommorow...need your expert advice

Quick story behind my Q...

Ive been looking for a car for a while....found the/a 95 integ clean looking one owner full history...and I want to buy it TOMMOROW....so any help would be MUCH appretiated!

3Q's

1)at reving from idle to about 3500rpm the valve/camshaft cover of the motor seemed to emit a chattering sound. Normal? is it a noisy engine? motor has 70k miles on it

2) Is the gearbox usually tight on reverse?

3) Is the Timing Belt a DIY job?

If anyone could run its vin and send me the report I would be over the moon.

JH4DC435XSS038736 it should have a clean title and some info about bumper replacement?

Honda/Acura's are known to have valves you can hear. Does it sounds consistent or does it sounds broken? A valve adjustment may be in-order.

2) Is the gearbox usually tight on reverse? It depends. Has the shifter been cut or replaced w/an aftermarket one? Mine has and is sometimes a little stubborn, but by no means busted.

3) Is the Timing Belt a DIY job? Yes, but you must have basic automotive knowledge and all the right parts. Most people will suggest you have a shop do it so it does not get fucked up.

Do a carfax search and see who can run the vin.

Default The car, thanks for your help

One owner adult no shifter changes...and yeah its "stuborn"

Also the chattering sound is consistant and even at revs at idle it sounds considerably less...would say it sounds "normal" ...that point to anything?

it had a 90k service cause of its age but no timing belt may they have done the valve adjust?
