How do you check the coolant temp switch to see if it was bad?

I have the similar problem too. I changed the t-stat, changed the coolant temp switch, jump the fan (works), checked the relays (good). Now, the car is overheating again, and the fan does not kick on. I am wondering if the cooland temp switch that i just changed was a bad one.

Was the coolant switch located on the thermostat housing? Some ppl confuse the coolant temperature sending unit for the fan switch. They are located in different places on honda's.

Yes. The coolant switch is on the thermostat housing. So, again, how do you check if it is good or bad?

Try changing, I don't know if I'm saying this correctly, the TW Switch. It sits somewhere along the upper radiator hose.
