Default Oil for 96 integra rs

about to do the first oil change on the used 96 I just bouoght and i need to know what i should give it to clean everything out the car has around 134k. should i give it some hi mileage stuff, some royal purple etc... all these brands say they do the same thing but which is the best, also for the 1.8 rs model how many litres should I buy for it??????

If your trying to clean everything out you can try senthetic, but its a good idea to change the oil again after about 500 miles or so or all the gunk that was released might cause you problems.....

how many litres do i need to buy? and
any opinions on which brand/type?

Most will suggest Mobile 1 Senthetic. I dont know how many litres you need, but about 4 quarts filled mine up.

4qt for the non-vtackk
4.5qt for the vtackk

so 4 qt's for you... not sure what that is in liters...

because your at such a high mileage... i'd be careful about synthetic... it may burn too quickly and not lube enough... some sort of high mileage blend should work really well though

and i think it says 1 quart = .544 ltrs?
