YEA so im puttin gin my IM and i broke this off of the back of the motor. I think i can get to it later with some small hands but WHAT IS IT and does anyone have a part# cuz i need a new one! PLEASE HELP.....im at a standstill!

im pretty sure that is your knock sensor, i could be wrong though, when i broke mine i could only get one from a honda acura dealership, but i got one from a friend instead

also if that is what that is, replace it if your motor is already out cause it is a real bitch to put back on

I got mine for $175 straight from the dealership. I would try and find one used.

I did the same thing you did and cracked it in half. Wasn't fun.

no dont have a part # but i think they were around 200 but you could prolly find a better deal if you look around, or you could find a wrecked car that has one and try to pull it from that

Yup, after looking at pics of my motor, it's definitely the knock sensor. Sucks for you. :happysad:

think theres a way to sodder that shit back on? 2 little wires back to the silver plate?
man this blows! will the car start with out this in?
