Default Heater switch problem??

Ive just noticed today that the heater switch in my itr is only working on speeds 3 and 4..

This is very annoying as i usually only use 1 and 2 as 3 and 4 sound like a hoover in the car

Anyway, Anyone else have this problem before? Any advice ?

Cheers

Yes, I had the exact same problem.

It is your blower resistor. It's located behind your glove box above the blower motor. It's only like $30 from the dealership. If you don't have one of those thumb driver things, I would suggest you get one since it is like the only way to turn those screws. You can probably use one of those garbage disposal wrenchs, but the thumb driver is like $2.00 at Sears and definitely worth it.
