Default inexpensive buffer

i know that PC 7424 is the most recommended buffer out there but i can't afford that

so i found this Coleman Powermate 10" Random Orbital Waxer/Polisher at Autozone for 30 bucks

Should I get this? or because its cheap, is it REALLY going to mess up my paint?

it probably won't mess up your paint, it just won't have enough ummph to do a good job. later.

dont use a shitty buffer on your car, it has trhe possibility to burn thru ur pain if u can buff for crap. invest in a good buffer(i.e. makita ) it'll make your life a whole lot easier

yeah you get what you pay for. Milwaukee makes a good buffer as well. Also use 3M compounds. They come in a variety of abrassives!

do you really want to skimp on the most important cosmetic feature of your car?

the porter-cable is an excellent option, with great results. you can get the porter-cable 7336 for about $100 even, i think, from Lowe's, and it's the same as the 7424. (it comes with a pad, but you'll want to look into buying more appropriate ones)

i think it's well worth the price, and come on, is $100 really that much? i don't think so. a $30 autozone buffer is likely going to cause you more headaches than the $70 savings is worth.

my results with the PC 7336: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=202833

i'm not saying you have to absolutely go with the PC, but do your research, and don't skimp.
