ok i dont know what you call it but it is the piece that lines where the door shuts. i looked for it on the acuraoemparts.com and couldnt find it. it doesnt go on the door. but where the door shuts.

i tried spraying it with water with the door open. i started from the bottom close to the dash and it worked well tilll i got up to where it is parallel to the windshield. then it started flowing to the inside and dripping on the floor instead of on the sideskirt.

so i pulled it off and noticed that there is a lip that bulges downward right there and i am thinking of just hammering that in or something. any ideas? sorry it was so long but i think i needed to explain myself.

is it the full rubber OEM peice that runs around the entire door jam?

do you think changing it will fix it or do i need to hammer the lip that comes down?

can you take a picture of the damage that you described? yes, you may have to straighten that out if it really is bent out of shape. that actually may be all that you need to do, but we need to see pics to tell you with more certainty.

 

there isnt any damage. i dont think. it just started leaking out of nowhere. but i will take some pics tonight when i get off work. how do i down size photos?? as far as mb to kb?
