as long as they are steel bolts they will be fine. high temp bolts? never heard of them. There isn't much of anyhting stronger than steel that doesn't melt lower than steel. Nothing is going to melt anyway, the only thing you really need to think about is the thermal expansion, so you want something similar to the flange material, steel.

i believe he typed that post all in caps. the system automatically brings down all cap sentences.

i also get annoying by members who type in full caps, and don't type out words like, "u", "ur", "4", etc.. but what can you do. just ignore that shit.

let's get back on topic now.

I guess for me, it shows a lack of respect and appreciation for what we know and are taking the time to tell you... for free and also saving you the effort of having to do your own real research.
wow what crawled up your ass. the reason why i was in FULL CAPS is because i use AutoCAD and inorder to design/drafting according to spec here at my company we must use all CAPS. IM SOOOOOORRY if i offened you. next time ignore my post and dont bother replying cuz right now your wasting my time and costing them MONEY. Whats wrong with typing U and not you, saves time and space, who cares. Your the first person here on HAN "that ive seen" that has actually wasted time talking about this. Calm down, and if you dont want to tell me where to get the bolts.......then dont, i cant prevent you from being a little kid. ANYWAYS, yea lets get back to the subject

use grade 8 steel bolts. Also most Honda, and Acura bolts have a 1.25 degree pitch for the threads. So if you need that one bolt don't forget that bit of info.

mcmaster has some cermaic bolts for like $30 apiece, but they don't have any strength rating and I can't imagine they are very strong.

I don't believe having home depot bolts on your car is such a good idea. Yeah they are holding now. But the ques. is for how long? Furthermore, you may run into problems when trying to remove them. The heat could damage them weaken them causing them break when you go to take them out. Or the heat could seize them to the head. Obviously "Home" Depot sells stuff for your home, not your car. Unless your homeless and live in your car...

I just wanted to say that when I have to deal with stupid kids trying to streetrace me or doing other stupid crap on the public roads in their imports everyday, I just start thinking about whether or not we're helping any of these same annoying people on these boards. So at least if you can make the effort to use decent English, I can visualize you as a mature adult working to build up your car.

I find that it takes effort to change my typing style to use ghetto speak. It's not me, and I prefer to use proper English.
