Default Help just bought an integra!

Ok just sunday 28th I bought an 98 integra Ls 4dr AT. for 2500. The seller said the car has a minor problem with some sensor, broken or something I don't know what the sensor is called he said that only needs to be changed so the car could run good. Well I end up buying the car, on the way home the car don't seem to accelarate that well, I step on it but the RPM goes up like it was in neutral but i had it in drive, i knew I had to fix that but I don't know what I need or what's even wrong with it. Today I went to the local mechanic, he got his computer to hook up to the ecu, and these were the results.

P0108- MAP/ Baro curcuit valve high
P0122- Throttle position curcuit low
P0505- Idle control system malfunction
P0700- Trans Fault (Mil request)
P1790- Throttle Position Sensor Fault
P0304- Missfire cyl.#4
P1457- Evap system leak (canister)

The mechanic said I should check the TPS wires. Im lost don't even know half of the above mean help what should i do!

First go get the mani and then locate the tps sensor which is in the back of the tb. The map sensor is located on the top of the tb. Make sure you look inside the plug and make sure there is nothing rusted or whatever. If that seems to be good then more than likely the sensor is messed up. The tranny seems like it's shot or low on ATF. I would check the oil level on the trans and see where it's at. If it's good go buy some lucas and see how far that takes you.

I checked all plugs they are good. I think its the Tps sensor that is bad.

The mechanic check the ATF he said it was good level just that it needs to be changed.
What you mean by The tranny seems like it's shot?

I mean it's bad. But when it comes to an Auto tranny there are a shit load of factors. Like Fluid, clutchs, ext. Change the oil and see how it goes from there. You can take a tps of any 92+ civic or integra go to the junkyard.

I got a 92 civic dx with a blown engine sitting in my garage. You're saying the TPS would normally fit the integra? Also does anyone know a guide how to remove and install a TPS. thanks

Nah the seller didn't played me, he was mad honest about the car. Besides he only had the car for 2 weeks after he sold it to me. I don't think he knew much.
