Default Help w/ a 94' Integra

So, the jist of it all. I bought a 94' Integra last spring. Had about 140k miles. Bought it off of a couple who are essentially mutal friends. Figured everything would be on the up and up. Drove the car for about 4 or 5 months, and she ran perfectly. One day on my way home from work, the car just died as a stopped at a red light.

At this point, the car sat for about 4 months. The weather was nice so I just rode my bike... etc.. Anyhow, get the car towed to a mechanic. He tells me that whoever installed the battery used a Civic batter. Apparently the positive/negative connections are flip flopped so the metal part of the battery was hitting the firewall and causing sparks. He replaced the battery, ignition (I believe), and ignitor coil? Anyhow, the car ran for about 2 weeks and my starter went out. I just replaced the starter w/ a brand new one, and the car ran again for two weeks. Until now... gawdamn car.

So, what it's doing now is... I'll start it... it'll rev about 2k when cold... sometimes it'll jump around all crazy, then just die.

The lastest thing to have happened is... I was on the freeway, and as I was exiting, going about 65mph, the RPM's were jumping all over the place. Down shifted, and the RPM's were still going crazy. Luckily the place I was going to was right off the freeway. I tried to keep my foot on the gas, because I was afraid it would die out on me... as I pulled into the parking lot, sure enough it died.

Now it won't start. Out of the 15 times I try to start it, it'll actually turn over maybe once or twice. When it does this, the RPM's will jump all the way up, my foot will be on the gas, then it'll just die down.

Any thoughts/suggestions/solutions?

Thanks in advance.

Distributor. Check your rotor or the entire thing might just be bad.
